ABi are delighted to announce that they now have the first ever Secured by Design accredited Sectional Garage Doors in stock at their Leeds showroom.
Our main suppliers Hormann have continued to make groundbreaking improvements and as a result, have now achieved the Secured by Design accreditation on all their sectional doors. Their sectional garage doors are the only ones currently on the market with this accreditation.
ABi Garage Door’s main supplier Hörmann (UK) Ltd has signed an agreement with Ilkeston FC to sponsor defender Matt Baker for the 2013/2014 season.

Welsh based door manufacturer, IG Doors has been bought by German Garage Door Manufacturers, Hormann. The acquisition will see Hormann increase its foothold in the entrance door sector and continue its expansion into the domestic and commercial door marketaplce.
The acquisition of the Cwbram based business took place on Thursday the 6th of June. IG Doors is a leading provider of composite entrance doors, has over 180 employees and has an annual turnover in excess of £27M. (more…)
According to market research, the average home has around £13,500 worth of cars or vehicles on the driveway or on the road. However, over 66% of households that have more than two cars do not park them in their garage, because they are being used as a storage facility.
In a survey conducted by Aviva, the largest car insurance company in the UK, the average household stores around £3,429 worth of personal effects in their garage. The same people keep their cars and vehicles worth around £13,487 on their driveways or on the road. When asked why they didn’t park their car in the garage, over a quarter of those surveyed said it was “too much effort”. On the contrary however, when asked if they would move their car or vehicle into the garage if it happened to be damaged by vandals or broken into, over 90% answered positively. (more…)
