The invention of the garage can be credited to Henry Ford, who smashed through the wall of his shed in 1896, because he couldn’t get his newly invented Quadracycle out through the doors. For over a hundred years since, garages have been used for storing and protecting cars across the world. Or at least, this is what I used to think before somebody pointed out that very few people actually use their garage for storing their car!
