With many families now having more than the previous one car in the family, who gets the garage or the space on the driveway is becoming more of a headache.

Yet after some research, ABI have found that many families don’t actually use their garages for cars at all.

Findings from Men and Motors have found that in the last 10 years, when 33% of families used their garage for their car, have fallen dramatically. (more…)

Your garage door leads to what?

It would appear that garage doors are no longer just somewhere to store household products or a car, but a canvas for some of the greatest artwork on the streets.

A quick glance across Google and you can find people who have painted planes, escalators, devastation and sunsets on their garage doors.

That got ABI thinking. We fit a large portion of doors within the Yorkshire area across our many locations, including Huddersfield and Bradford, but what do people do with the garage after we have fitted the door?

After a little bit more research we found there to be a magnitude of uses for the garage. (more…)

Illinois man sends garage door message

Despite being a long way from Leeds, an American man decided to take revenge on his wife’s admirer by spray painting ‘Don’t email my wife’ on his garage door.

Using a can of spray paint, the Illinois man painted the words in large red letters to make a clear statement to his rival to stay away from his other half. (more…)
